Dr. Barrett, winner of the 2021 American Academy Of Cosmetic Dentistry Smile Portrait Competition, will guide you through this full day interactive photography experience.
Emphasized will be portrait photography, treatment planning photo for effective laboratory communication, basic and advanced camera setups as well what equipment do you need to get started.
The next course takes place at the Lake Mary Marriott on Saturday, November 4, 2023.
This unique Dental Photography Course offers a hands-on learning experience with a small class size of 18 participants.
It focuses on capturing stunning portraits with models and a makeup artist on-site, creating an immersive environment.
Participants will have the opportunity to experience using studio lighting, including soft boxes, speed lights, and various types of diffusers.
Dr. Steven Barrett, the instructor, will demonstrate the impact of each lighting setup and allow participants to determine what works best for their own photography style.
The course covers essential aspects such as intraoral photography for effective laboratory communication, shade matching, and the creation of meaningful lab prescriptions.
Additionally, participants will gain a solid foundation in photography fundamentals like aperture, shutter speed, depth of field, white balance and ISO, enabling them to have full control over their images.
Dr. Barrett, who lectures on aesthetics throughout the country, brings his expertise and experience to guide participants in achieving outstanding dental photography results.
